Sigma Technologies has inhouse capability of depositing polymers, metals, alloys, and ceramics using vacuum thin film coating equipment, that includes sputtering, electron beam, cathodic arc, plasma CVD and thermal evaporation batch and web coaters. Sigma has a range of analytical equipment that include  AA, ICP, GC, TMA, TGA, DSC, SEM, FTIR, and UVVIS.

Sigma also specializes in the test and qualification of a broad range of materials and passive  electronic components, failure analysis, instrumentation development, materials development and is capable of performing a broad range of MIL STDS, ASTM, UL and IEC tests.

The company is well equipped with modern infrastructure that includes several pilot scale vacuum chambers for coatings development,  advanced materials production facility, and characterization instruments.  All facilities at Sigma Technologies meet environmental, safety, and hazard laws and regulations of Federal, Arizona and local governments for airborne emissions, waterborne effluents, external radiation levels, outdoor noise, solid and bulk waste disposal practices, and handling and storage of toxic and hazardous materials.

·       Electron Beam Multilayer Deposition System, capable of coating 20" dia. substrates with four different materials

·       In-Line Sputtering system - 1sq.ft. substrates can be plasma treated and coated inline with three different sputtered materials (RF and DC magnetrons)

·       Cathodic Arc Coating System - Unique swept arc system outfitted with two 40" cathodes that can be used to coat 3D objects

·       Sputter Coating of 3D objects is also available using 40" sputtering cathodes

·       Unique dual Anodic Arc System for coating 3D objects

·       Dual Alumina Chamber CVD/Epitaxial Deposition System powered with a 50,000W RF generator

·       200KV Electron Beam and UV polymer coating systems
