OPERATIONS

Manual: "One Shot"

Automatic: 6 to 10 Pulses per Second (Voltage) (Cap Valve).  Sigma also manufactures a high voltage (10KV) and a low voltage (1000V) high dv/dt pulse generator designed to test the performance of Capacitor Termination Systems.

Partial Discharge Data Acquisition System

Numerical Analysis Detect, display and analyze performance characteristics of a dielectric system that is normally not available by conventional measurement techniques. Collectively or individually investigate the effect of variables such as level of applied voltage, time under voltage, and temperature on the energy level of the corona pulses. This system was designed specifically to allow for correlation of partial discharge activity in a given dielectric system with parametric degradation in dielectric and performance losses.
